The Ring Box Company

Nicky and Mahon Jones came up with The Ring Box Company idea in 1996 when they were planning their own wedding.

“Our jeweller gave us our engagement rings in a black, plastic box with a tacky gold trim, and that’s when we realised there was a place in the market for beautifully handcrafted ring boxes to compliment the special ring inside,” says Nicky.

Mahon, a carpenter by trade, set to work designing the unique ring boxes boxes straight away. The finished products were initially used by a local jeweller for its customers, until demand grew so much Nicky and Mahon decided to launch The Ring Box Company officially.

The Ring Box Company has built up an international reputation for its beautifully hand made ring boxes made from Jarrah (an Australian hard wood) and Rimu (a New Zealand timber) – and is very well established in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Canada and New Zealand markets with their personalised ring box concept for weddings and engagements.
